Powerlifting, exploring architecture and searching for the best coffee in Canberra

David Carter

Urban Designer

David is an Urban Designer and a Graduate of Architecture. His background in graphic design, web design and visual communication allows him to apply an inter-disciplinary lens to our projects, ensuring that each design outcome is communicated effectively and graphically represented to a high standard.

David is adept in preparing inputs to multi-disciplinary projects such as master plans, design guidelines, research reports, typology studies and consultation material for stakeholder engagement.

David's attention to detail and knowledge in architectural design allows him to be well-versed in the processes of assessing submissions against estate development guidelines as a consultant design co-ordinator for Googong Township.

David believes that "great design deserves great visual communication". This ethos is reflected in his passion for web design and digital content production; having designed and developed the Place Logic website, along with production of video/photo imagery for both client projects and Place Logic's marketing collateral.

David is interested in shaping and guiding the built environment towards a more sustainable future through practical, inclusive and human-centric design outcomes.

David holds a Bachelor of the Built Environment (Architecture) from the University of Canberra.
