Suzie Gilbert

CAD Technician

Suzie brings over 16 years of extensive experience in civil, landscape and urban design drafting for land development, both Brownfield and Greenfield sites of varying scales in the ACT, NSW, SA and NT.

Suzie has a meticulous skillset and knowledge in drafting that has also stretched across other industries involving architecture, structural steel design, mining (mining shafts and mining soil samples), civil engineering and planning. Some of her recent projects include South Jerrabomberra, Jumping Creek Estate, Australian War Memorial, Taylor and Moncrieff residential estates and Henry Rolland Park.

Suzie has played a key role in updating the ACT civil engineering drawing standards. Suzie’s eye for technical detail allows her to bring her technical knowledge to all aspects of CAD drafting and detailing. She also has extensive experience in WAE (works as executed) drawings, Ref 11 Documentation, and the process to submit summary drawings. She is also well-versed in preparing plans of a sensitive cultural nature, having prepared plans for Commonwealth EPBC referrals and submissions similar in nature.

In the office, Suzie is also actively training junior staff to ensure the quality of work and processes are aligned with best practice and the highest of standards. Suzie plays the important role of constantly reviewing our internal systems and researching new programs and tools to improve the workflow efficiency and quality of our design outcomes.

Suzie holds various certificates and qualifications in architectural drafting and GIS software suites.
