Project Win! Ginninderry Landfill Master Plan
24 Sep 2019 / Immie
Place Logic have been successful in our joint bid with Spiire, to master plan the Ginninderry Landfill Site and surrounding areas.
With a size of over 70 hectares, the former landfill site will form the open space heart of Ginninderry, providing recreation and community uses bounded by a wide range and mix of activity. Our team will invigorate Ginninderry through creative re-use of marginalised land, by learning and connecting with exceptional global examples of adaptive re-use, such as Freshkills in New York.
We are excited to be chosen to contribute to the creation of Ginninderry, a 6-star Greenstar Community, and look forward to the project kicking off.

From the Mountain to the Sea
30 Aug 2019 / Immie
Place Logic has been recently engaged by the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation to undertake an Urban Design Assessment for Mount Penang Parklands. This site is significant for the Central Coast, with heritage value and environmental value, and a great local project for our Central Coast office.
Mount Penang already has great physical connections to Sydney and Newcastle, being directly connected to the M1 Motorway. It offers visitors a café overlooking landscaped gardens and an events venue that attracts music and food festivals. The mountainside environs and vistas are unique to the Coast, and from vantage points there are great visual connections to the Brisbane Waters below.
Place Logic is aiming to set a clear vision for the site to move forward in planning and to provide additional offers that resonate with the Coast.
