Working at the intersection of urban structure and landscape detail, he contributes to projects ranging from large-scale estates and public realm upgrades to education, commercial and residential developments.

Marcelo is recognised for the polish and quality he brings to spaces — ensuring the key design moves and the fine-grain elements are resolved as one cohesive outcome. His approach is grounded in sustainability, nature-integrated design and considered interpretations of Indigenous landscapes, resulting in environments that are environmentally responsible, culturally aware and thoughtfully unified.

Marcelo holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Environments (Urban Planning and Design) from the University of Melbourne. Marcelo is also a current Member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
