Place Logic is currently engaged to deliver landscape architecture, urban design and master planning services for the 32-hectare Poplars Innovation Business Park.

The development consists of 5 precincts with distinct characters with a range of uses including commercial, light industrial, community uses and food and beverage.

Our role at Poplars is to implement best practice urban design and landscape architecture principles to create excellent design outcomes to unify these precincts.

Place Logic has also been engaged to produce a Landscape Master Plan, Signage Strategy and Design Guidelines with inputs from leading consultants including local architect Patrick Roberts (Open Principle Architects) and Black Mountain Construction Assurance (BCMA).

The Design Guidelines demonstrates the desired outcomes relating to built form, infrastructure and landscape treatments.

The Guidelines includes comprehensive 'look and feel' information as well as detailed typologies that take into consideration various site opportunities and constraints — all of which have been carefully considered during the process of determining appropriate outcomes and characteristics for the Poplars development.

"The development will provide a working environment where organisations can meet or work in synergy to explore concepts that may change our future.

By taking cues from the best workplaces, the Innovation Precinct provides for worker wellbeing with open green spaces, quality landscaped verges and a masterplan based upon sustainable development practices".
